Former Watford star Odion Ighalo has been selected in the Chinese Super League Team of the Week for game week four by Whoscored.com. The Nigeria international netted his first ever brace for Shanghai Shenhua as they registered a 5-1 rout of Sone Aluko’s Beijing Renhe at the Hongkou Stadium (Shanghai) on Sunday.In a 4-4-2 formation, Ighalo was partnered in attack by Shanghai Shenhua teammate Giovanni Moreno, who opened the scoring in the comprehensive win against Beijing Renhe.With a rating of 9.84, the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers top scorer was there best rated player in the Team of the Week and was named Player of the Week as a result. Ighalo had a game-high six shots against Beijing Renhe, of which three were on target; made two key passes and had a passing accuracy of 77.8. President Buhari Tells Investors In Dubai To Invest In Nigeria

Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi has insisted that the level of corruption under the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration was worst than PDP’s 16 years. The former governor of Kaduna State and a presidential aspirant said the current level of corruption will not be known until APC leaves power. Speaking with PDP leaders in Enugu, he claimed that the anti-graft war was weak under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration because it has been politicised. A Nigerian student killed Malaysia

A Nigerian student was killed and a woman, 39, sustained light injuries in an accident at Jalan Semarak near Taman Semarah in Malaysia yesterday. David Oyaele Audu, a student of the President College in Kuala Lumpur, was coming from a nightclub in Taman Semarak to Nilai town when his car veered off the road and hit the road divider before it was thrown to the opposite lane and crashed into another car driven by a woman. The woman sustained light injuries while Audu died on the spot due to severe head injuries. The accident happened at about 8.15am on Monday morning.
