Former Minister of Aviation during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign now.
In a series of tweets form his twitter handle, Fani-Kayode said that with the pictures posted by the various visiting governors to Buhari in London, the president would need to quit the office.
In one of the tweets, Fani-Kayode said, “Buhari!, resign, go home and rest.”
On Wednesday, seven governors, including two governors from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP had visited the recuperating president in London.
They were excited that the president had improved very well and that it is a matter of time, he would be back home to continue with his national assignment.
But to Fani-Kayode, President Buhari has no stamina anymore to lead the country of 180 million people.
He said, ‘By curious dignitaries in a distant foreign land. It is an act of cruelty to expect this poor man to lead a nation of 180 million. Let him resign, go home and rest.
He also stated that Presidency is not meant to be a tourist attraction centre, a museum of old fossils or a mausoleum of decaying bodies to be viewed.
