Mourinho insists Fellaini will not be leaving United for Galatasaray

Jose Mourinho says Marouane Fellaini will not be leaving Manchester United this summer.

The Belgian midfielder was strongly linked with a move to Galatasaray, with the Turkish side’s sporting director Cenk Ergun revealing he was in negotiations over a move.

But Fellaini was named in the starting line-up for United’s friendly against Valerenga on Saturday evening and would score the opening goal in their 3-0 win.

Following the game Mourinho admitted that the 29-year-old is too important to him to let go
