NNPC/Total National Merit Scholarship Scheme For Nigerians - 2018


Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN): Total Exploration & Production Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI) are offering the 2018 NNPC/TOTAL National Merit Scholarship programme to Nigerian Undergraduates.

The Total Scholarship scheme is aimed at promoting academic excellence and quality manpower development in the Country.

Eligibility

- Applicants must be a Registered FULL TIME undergraduate in a recognized Nigerian University.

- Applicants must be a certified 100 or 200 level student at the time of application.

- Applicants must have a 2.50 CGPA of 5-point scale, or equivalent.

The following documents are required when applying:

- Recent Passport Photograph

- Certificate or Proof of Origin

- Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE)

- UTME result

- JAMB/University Admission Letter

- 1st Year Result showing CGPA

Application Deadline

Applications will close on October 31, 2017. Selection tests will hold on December 2, 2017 at designated centers nationwide which will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only. Candidates will fully bear the cost transportation to test venue as no reimbursement shall be made.

Candidates are therefore advised to choose a test center closest to them.

Usain Bolt Shows Off His Football Skills As He Trains In South Africa (Photos)

World’s fastest man, Usain Bolt seems to have finally kick-started his football career. The retired Olympian looked like a natural as he trained with the South African Premier Division leaders on Monday. The Jamaican attended the practice session in Johannesburg…. Bolt has previously expressed his desire to play for Manchester United following his retirement from the race track. And the 31-year-old kicked off his football career with a training session with Mamelodi Sundowns at Chloorkop. The world’s fastest man was introduced to the team through their joint sponsor – Puma. He got stuck in with the session, and the clubs official Twitter page shared videos of the superstar in action. After that, he paid a visit to the Puma School of Speed – which is an organisation set up to find the next generation of talent. 41 Nigerians Deported From Germany, Switzerland, Four Others

At least 41 Nigerians were on Thursday deported from six European countries for immigration and related offences. The deportees came from Austria, Germany, Hungry, Switzerland, Norway and Denmark.  According to TheNation, a Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) source said the deportees comprised 35 males and six females. The source said the 41 people were deported for overstaying in the European countries. They were picked from different cities in the six countries.
